Chinois Ibiza Unites the Island with Beloved PORTSIDE Free Open-Air Party

Ibiza, May 27, 2025 – Chinois Ibiza is gearing up to host its hugely popular annual open-air party, PORTSIDE, at Ibiza Port. This free event, running from 6 PM to midnight, serves as a heartfelt thank you and celebration for island locals, authorities, businesses, workers, and visitors. Now in its third year, PORTSIDE embodies a spirit of inclusion, honoring the White Isle’s sense of community, its magical essence, and the rich legacy of Ibiza’s old town. It’s Chinois’ annual gift to the island, fostering unity through world-class electronic music.

A Celebration of Community and Music

Danny Whittle, Chinois Ibiza Brand Director, emphasizes the significance of the event.

“PORTSIDE has now become a much-anticipated annual opportunity for us to honour the community of Ibiza, the locals, the music scene, and all the people who make the island so special, with an incredible free party,” Whittle stated. “It’s such a meaningful event for us at Chinois, and for the incredible DJs joining us, whilst also powering the local businesses in the Port. It’s always a really special day. Thanks to the Mayor, Town Hall and Port Authority for making this happen.”

This sentiment highlights the deep connection between Chinois and the Ibizan community, making PORTSIDE a truly special occasion for everyone involved.

The musical heart of PORTSIDE beats with an exceptional lineup of DJs, curated to provide an unforgettable soundtrack for dancing under the stars. Headlining the event for his third consecutive year is Swiss-born, Chile-raised pioneer Luciano. An Ibiza mainstay since 2009 and a firm Chinois favorite, Luciano promises his signature vibrant dance and groundbreaking beats, following previous PORTSIDE triumphs and last summer’s CADENZA residency.

Joining him are Chinois residents and SAGA founders, the duo Bedouin, comprised of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe. These globally sought-after underground heroes weave diverse influences and cultures into their blend of deep, melodic house and world music. Their SAGA residency has been an integral part of Ibiza’s story since 2017, and their performance at PORTSIDE will offer a tantalizing foretaste of SAGA’s much-anticipated Chinois debut residency, set to begin on Sundays from June 29th.

The lineup further includes hypnotic French talent Adassiya, the Mektoub label boss known for her culturally inspired melodies and sonic storytelling. Her releases on eminent labels, including Warner and Three Six Zero, and accolades such as Beatportal’s ‘Radar,’ have firmly placed her in the spotlight she rightfully deserves. Local hero Bruz, originally from the Netherlands, also graces the decks. A Chinois favorite, Bruz regularly delivered glorious sets at the club last year and holds a residency at Chinois’ sister venue, Beachouse. Though notorious in Ibiza, he has firmly established himself as a global talent, completing a stellar roster for the open-air celebration.

The Party Continues: Chinois Afterparty at the Marina

As PORTSIDE concludes at midnight, the celebration seamlessly transitions to the official afterparty at Chinois itself. Located just a stone’s throw away at the Marina, the club opens its doors from 11:30 PM, offering a second chance to catch Luciano and Bedouin in Chinois’ intimate club setting. This provides a contrasting yet equally electrifying experience for those who wish to continue the night’s festivities. Tickets HERE !

The afterparty lineup features additional exceptional talent. French producers Dorian Craft and Baron will go B2B, offering a blend of diverse melodic vibes with a subtle touch of Afro House, fusing jazz, afro, and disco influences. This marks their first back-to-back appearance at Chinois before their performance at SAGA on July 27th. London-born, Balearic-influenced Cameron Jack also joins the bill, laying down captivating house and techno. Inspired by his summers on the White Isle and the UK scene, Cameron Jack, with releases on Knee Deep In Sound and support from names like Pete Tong, is definitely a name to watch.
