Amnesia Ibiza: The Return to the Dancefloor’s Soul

Ibiza’s pulsating heart beats strongest not on glaring billboards or social media feeds, but within the hallowed confines of its dancefloors. Here, the true spirit of electronic music thrives, offering an escape, an immersion in sound, and a chance for genuine connection. This summer, Amnesia Ibiza reaffirms this foundational truth, shedding the trappings of spectacle to champion what truly matters: music and atmosphere.

With fresh residencies and a state-of-the-art sound system, Amnesia is committing to a season of feeling, a profound return to the clubbing experience. It’s a clear message to those who seek to disappear into the rhythm, rather than merely be seen. This season’s program embodies a deliberate focus on substance over scale, blending breakthrough residencies with established global brands.

A Season For True Clubbers

While parts of Ibiza lean towards predictable spectacle, Amnesia offers a refreshing, unadulterated alternative. This space caters to clubbers who value thoughtful curation and nights that unfold with raw instinct. For nearly 50 years, Amnesia has stood on principles of music, freedom, and enduring memories. This season reinforces that legacy.

The programming reflects this energy, kicking off with a refreshed Amnesia Presents on Mondays. Expect dynamic sets from resident hosts Ben Hemsley and KETTAMA on the iconic terrace. They welcome guests such as Interplanetary Criminal and Dennis Sulta, setting a high standard for the week.

Tuesdays mark a significant debut: East End Dubs brings his renowned Eastenderz brand to Amnesia for the first time. This promises a signature night of low-slung, groove-heavy house, a sound that has cultivated a dedicated following across Europe.

Wednesdays herald the exciting return of Ultra’s Resistance after a five-year hiatus. This residency reclaims its vital space for techno. Headlining residents Artbat and Adam Beyer will deliver exclusive back-to-back sets. The lineup also features an impressive roster of guests including Richie Hawtin, ANNA, Maceo Plex, and Hardwell, who makes his sole Ibiza appearance of 2025 at Amnesia.

Diverse Sounds, Unforgettable Nights

Thursdays belong to Boiler Room, launching its inaugural Ibiza club residency. This follows their landmark 2024 one-off event with Charli XCX. The residency will introduce many new artists and sounds to the island. It fuses raw energy with alternative curation, featuring a diverse array of acts. These include The Streets, Bicep, Chase & Status, Sammy Virji, Flowdan, and Joy Orbison, among others.

Fridays see the return of Mathame with NEO. This cinematic, melodic techno residency will blend immersive soundscapes with high-concept visuals. These four exclusive events promise a transportive dancefloor experience for those seeking a dreamlike journey.

Saturdays welcome Bresh, the vibrant Argentinian party. Known for its eclectic mix of reggaeton, Latin club sounds, and vivid, colour-drenched production, Bresh now occupies a prime-time slot. With guests still to be announced, it guarantees one of the island’s most high-energy atmospheres. It offers a genuine alternative for clubbers looking beyond traditional 4/4 beats.

Sundays conclude the week with Pyramid, Amnesia’s flagship underground session. Clubbers can anticipate house, minimal, and techno from revered artists. The lineup includes Amelie Lens, DJ Tennis, Nina Kraviz, Ricardo Villalobos, and Vintage Culture. Pyramid consistently showcases DJs who move crowds through their artistry, rather than seeking the spotlight.

Special Takeovers and Grand Finale

The summer schedule also features a range of impactful takeovers and one-off events. These highlight Amnesia’s broad musical spectrum. BBC Radio 1 Dance X returns, alongside a series of exclusive Mixmag Ibiza Sessions featuring artists like Boys Noize, Angerfist, and Fish56Octagon. Other notable events include Homobloc with Sugababes and Horse Meat Disco, Teletech featuring Patrick Mason, and Fatima Hajji Invites. Trance pioneers will also rejoice with the reappearance of Godskitchen in September, featuring Paul Van Dyk and Eddie Halliwell.

The legendary two-day closing party, set for October 10th and 11th, promises to be an unforgettable culmination. The Amnesia team also hints at more surprises throughout the season, with additional exclusive parties yet to be announced.

As Ibiza continues to shape global dance culture, Amnesia embraces this responsibility with serious intent. 2025 stands as a year of sharply curated music. It aims to both spotlight the next generation of talent and celebrate the timeless sounds that form the very DNA of the island’s electronic music scene.
