Ibiza: [UNVRS] has opened its doors and is reshaping nightlife!

On Friday, May 30, Ibiza was buzzing! [UNVRS], the new spot everyone was talking about, finally opened its doors. Thousands of party-goers from all over the world were there to witness a moment that totally broke the mold and redefined what a club can be.

A Crazy Project and Top-Notch Design

[UNVRS] is the result of a wild gamble: to create the most incredible club on the planet. Dreamt up by The Night League, the team behind legendary venues like Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza, and spearheaded by Yann Pissenem, this project marks a new chapter. It’s a mix between a nightclub, a work of art, and a waking dream.

As for the decor, [UNVRS] draws inspiration from traditional Ibizan fincas, with whitewashed walls, natural stone, and earthy textures. It gives it a raw, grounded feel, deeply rooted in the island’s spirit. The name itself hints at immensity, mystery—a place beyond time and space.

Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a giant UFO sculpture, seemingly crash-landed at the entrance. It sets the tone for the surreal experience ahead. Descending the grand main staircase, [UNVRS] reveals its massive scale: a huge main room, alive with immersive visuals, breathtaking light displays mapped across towering walls, and performers. The sound, meanwhile, is just perfect thanks to a custom-built L-Acoustics system.

An Immersive Experience Full of Surprises

Here, indoor and outdoor zones blend seamlessly, inviting you to explore terraces, mirrored corridors, and various levels. Each area is a distinct sensory universe. The rooms transform into cinematic landscapes and sonic sculptures, with architectural inspirations ranging from brutalism to retro-futurism and contemporary art deco.

The VIP experience at [UNVRS] takes on a whole new dimension. A large inverted-U balcony offers sweeping panoramic views of the pulsating dancefloor below, where the energy of the crowd builds thanks to cutting-edge sound and light.

Beyond the dancefloor, [UNVRS] is a true labyrinth of discovery. One standout area is the Wild Comet, a fully equipped micro-club hidden… inside the toilets! A DJ booth sits at its center, surrounded by sound-reactive lighting and walls treated with the same acoustic precision as the main room. It’s a club within a club—pure madness! Outside, open-air terraces await party-goers, like the Gravity Garden, where you find yourself surrounded by nature, and the Sky Deck, which offers breathtaking views of Ibiza Town and Formentera. And then there’s the famous Dome, crowned by its spectacular centerpiece: the “Tree of Life”.

[UNVRS] also offers an exclusive culinary experience, a partnership with VICIO, the creators of the first “burger club” located within a nightclub. Whether you’re recharging, taking a moment to unwind, or simply indulging, everything flows smoothly. And on the menu? Something truly unique: crispy chicken tenders served with caviar. An unexpected treat that redefines late-night dining.

Every detail at [UNVRS] is designed to elevate the experience, whether you’re dancing your heart out or taking it all in from above.

An Incredible Audiovisual Production

The opening night featured an insane, one-of-a-kind production created by the renowned High Scream team, led by Romain Pissenem. Clubbers were blown away by a mix of cutting-edge kinetic lighting systems, immersive LED visuals, and much more, all soundtracked by pristine audio reverberating through every corner of the venue.

With storytelling at its core, the night unfolded as a sensory journey through light and rhythm. Acrobats descended through sculpted shafts of light, digital visuals pulsed in perfect synchronicity, and jets of smoke fired from the ceiling, dramatically simulating a lift-off. Futuristic LED pods emerged like stairways to the stars, while lasers mounted on moving winches carved kinetic pathways above the crowd. “Laserblades” literally invented a new visual language for laser effects, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in live production.

The First Sounds of the Universe

Dutch DJ Carista had the honor of playing the very first track ever at [UNVRS], ringing in a new era of nightlife with Tornado Wallace‘s “Bitter Suite (Symphony Mix)”. The energy continued to build with sets from Ahmed Spins and the b2b of Adam Ten with Mita Gami. The night really kicked into high gear when Michael Bibi took the stage, delivering an awesome set in his signature underground sound.

What followed were two explosive back-to-back performances by four of Ibiza’s most iconic and respected acts. Joseph Capriati and The Martinez Brothers joined forces for two hours of driving house and techno before handing the reins to Carl Cox and Jamie Jones. On closing duties, Ibiza legend Carl Cox and Paradise head honcho Jamie Jones delivered a marathon set that brought the Main Room to a euphoric close, finishing with the anthem “Playing With Knives” by Bizarre Inc.

In the Wild Comet—the club hidden behind the main dancefloor and nestled within the heart of [UNVRS]‘s toilets—the energy never let up. A seamless stream of selectors including Pascal Moscheni b2b Frankybeats, Salomé Le Chat, S.A.M, and KOKO kept the dancefloor alive. As sunrise broke over Ibiza, local favorite Paul Reynolds closed the room with a driving set that carried the crowd into the morning.
