Francis Mercier Takes Over Mondays: The Sun Rises on Hï Ibiza with “Solèy”

We are absolutely buzzing to announce that the Haitian powerhouse Francis Mercier is launching his debut residency at the world’s number one club, Hï Ibiza, for the 2026 season. The concept? Solèy. And let me tell you, it’s going to be radiant.

From June 1st to October 5th, the Theatre at Hï Ibiza will stop being just a room and start being a sanctuary. We’ve been following Francis’s meteoric rise with Deep Root Records for years, but seeing him take command of the main room for a full summer residency? That is the kind of glow-up we love to see.

More Than a Party: A Sonic Ritual

What makes this residency special isn’t just the name on the flyer; it’s the vision behind it. Solèy means "Sun" in Haitian Creole, and the vibe is exactly that: warm, life-giving, and intense. Francis isn't just pressing play; he’s curating a multicultural sonic ritual.

We’re talking about a fusion that spans continents. Imagine the deep, rolling basslines of House music colliding with the ancestral rhythms of the Caribbean, Africa, and the Levant. But here’s the kicker: it’s not just electronic. The Theatre will come alive with live instrumentation—think guitars and djembes—and choreographed performances that turn the dancefloor into a living, breathing piece of art. As Francis himself said:

"To be able to hold a residency in Ibiza, and most importantly at Hï Ibiza, feels surreal... It’s also a big cultural statement for me to be able to bring a brand rooted in Caribbean culture... on such a big platform."

If you’ve ever lost yourself to his remix of Premier Gaou or felt the energy of Sete, you know Francis Mercier doesn’t just make tracks; he makes anthems that unite crowds. His style is a masterclass in "World House"—emotive, rhythmic, and deeply soulful.

For 19 weeks, the Theatre will be the global capital of Afro House. Expect a journey that moves from melodic, ethnic sounds to high-energy peaks that will test the limits of Hï Ibiza's world-class sound system. Two Rooms, One Incredible Monday

While Francis brings the heat to the Theatre, the vibe elsewhere in the club is going to be just as electric. The legendary Andrea Oliva is taking over the Club Room with his "All I Need" concept. This is the perfect yin and yang setup: the expansive, cultural journey of Solèy in the main room, and the raw, intimate, underground tech-house energy in the Club Room.

Whether you are there for the live percussion and Haitian soul or the driving tech beats, Mondays at Hï Ibiza are shaping up to be the most complete clubbing experience of 2026. The production teams are promising a visual spectacle that matches the music—expect plenty of gold, light, and "solar" energy in the production design.
