UNVRS Crowned World’s No. 1 Club: The Hyperclub Era Takes Over Ibiza
Less than a year after its explosive debut, UNVRS has officially been crowned the World’s No. 1 Club in the DJ Mag 2026 poll. By merging arena-scale production with underground intimacy, this visionary Ibiza "hyperclub" bypassed the traditional climb, shooting straight to the summit and forever reshaping the island's nightlife.
A Debut Season for the History Books
Opening its doors in May 2025, UNVRS delivered pure, unadulterated magic. Immersive LED tunnels and vibrating dancefloors set the stage for unforgettable moments: a colossal B2B2B2B featuring Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, and The Martinez Brothers, and Anyma breaking the internet by bringing out Travis Scott for an epic rendition of FE!N.
The hyperclub's rise was also anchored by the monumental residency of David Guetta. Spectacularly crowned the 2025 No. 1 DJ right inside the venue, his residency became the undisputed heartbeat of the island.
An Island Empire & A Shifting Guard
CEO Yann Pissenem (The Night League) now commands an unparalleled Ibiza empire. His holy trinity dominates the podium: alongside UNVRS at No. 1, Ushuaïa Ibiza secures No. 3, and Hï Ibiza lands at No. 4. Pissenem's vision is clear: "It was imagined as a new kind of space where the scale of arena-level production meets the intimacy of the dancefloor."
Yet, looking at the complete DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs ranking, a stark reality emerges. As clubbers demand highly immersive sensory experiences, many historic Ibiza legacy clubs are dropping in the ranks. The standard has permanently evolved.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Following a massive October closing party featuring heavyweights like Black Coffee, Peggy Gou, and ANOTR, the UNVRS team is already gearing up to push technological boundaries even further. The hyperclub era is here—secure your spot on the dancefloor.
