Ibiza is set to welcome back the enigmatic Claptone, the figure adorned with the iconic golden mask. This season, he brings his celebrated concept, The Masquerade, to the sophisticated shores of Chinois Ibiza. Prepare for a weekly dose of magic, mystery, and the seductive rhythms of house music every Saturday. This marks Claptone‘s return to both the island and Chinois, affectionately known as ‘the club of Ibiza’, where he aims to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive community that truly embodies the unique spirit of this Mediterranean haven.

Nestled within Ibiza’s prestigious marina, Chinois boasts a state-of-the-art sound system and captivating, sensual visuals, all meticulously designed to create a dancefloor-first experience. This commitment to sonic excellence and immersive atmosphere consistently attracts some of the world’s most renowned DJs, and this season is no exception. The anticipation is building for the arrival of The Masquerade, promising a season of unforgettable nights.

A Star-Studded Cast Joins the Masquerade

Kicking off the season on May 24th, the legendary Faithless will deliver an electrifying DJ set, reminding everyone that ‘god is a DJ’. Adding to the opening night excitement, Belgium’s acclaimed Dewaeles brothers, better known as 2ManyDJs (or Soulwax), will also take to the stage. Deep house aficionados will be thrilled to welcome back the South Africa-born, Swiss-based queen of the genre, Nora En Pure, who is slated for two highly anticipated appearances. The Parisian maestro of R&B and soul-infused sounds, Dimitri From Paris, will also grace the decks for two nights, promising his signature blend of sophisticated grooves.

Adding to the dynamic pairings of the season, the UK’s formidable house authority, Hannah Wants, will go back-to-back with fellow globally touring Brit Paul Woolford, a collaboration that promises a potent fusion of their distinct styles. In a unique offering, the math/indie/alt/art rock band Foals will showcase their diverse musical taste with a special DJ set. Icons Pete Tong and Roger Sanchez, names synonymous with the evolution of dance music, will also make their mark on The Masquerade, their sets undoubtedly essential experiences for any Ibiza clubber. The playful yet undeniably talented Australian duo Flight Facilities are also on the bill, ready to bring their eclectic energy to the dancefloor. The season will culminate on October 4th with the final Masquerade party, featuring the vibrant sounds of Scottish BBC Radio 1 presenter Arielle Free.
